PRESENTE SIMPLE: FRASES NEGATIVAS Y PREGUNTAS

Hoy vamos a ver las frases negativas e interrogativas del presente simple en ingles:
§ Usamos don’t + I/you/we/they + infinitivo para hacer frases negativas:
I live in Coventry -> I don’t live in Birmingham
You have lunch at 1 o’clock -> You don’t have lunch at 2 o’clock
We play tennis on Thursdays -> We don’t play tennis on Wednesdays
They like classical music -> They don’t like pop music
§ Si el sujeto es he, she o it, usamos doesn’t:
He lives in Coventry -> He doesn’t live in Birmingham
She plays tennis on Thursdays -> She doesn’t play tennis on Wednesdays
It rains a lot in Scotland -> It doesn’t rain a lot in Saudi Arabia
§ Usamos do + I/you/we/they + infinitivo para hacer preguntas:
Do I know you?
Do you want a drink? Do we have time?
Do they like country music?
A veces, en lenguaje informal, acortamos la pregunta y decimos, por ejemplo:
You like music? pero es mucho mejor aprender bien a formar las preguntas primero.
§ Si el sujeto es he, she o it, usamos does:
Does he live in Coventry?
Does she play tennis on Thursdays? Does it rain a lot in Scotland?
§ Mira estos errores típicos que se cometen con el presente simple:
She play football at the weekend She plays football at the weekend
They do live in Pakistan They live in Pakistan
He don’t like hamburgers He doesn’t like hamburgers
It doesn’t snows much here It doesn’t snow much here
Do he work with you? Does he work with you?
Does Angela wants to come? Does Angela want to come?
She speak French? Does she speak French?
He have a car? Does he have a car?
