What time will he arrive home? ¿A qué hora llegará a casa? |
Vamos a ver.
We ARRIVE IN a country, a city or a town
Usamos ARRIVE IN para países, ciudades y pueblos.
We ARRIVE AT all other places, buildings and events.
So, we say, “They have just arrived IN Philadelphia.”
Acaban de llegar a Philadelphia.
But we say, “They have just arrived AT the airport.”
Acaban de llegar al aeropuerto.
We say, “Peter will be arriving IN New York at 3 o’clock.”
Peter llegará a Nueva york a las 3.
But we say, “What time is Almodovar arriving AT the film festival?”
What time do you arrive home?
¿A qué hora llegas a casa?
Y nunca, pero NUNCA, NUNCA decimos ARRIVE TO. ¡NO!
When we reached the moon, it was a tremendous feat.
