There are many irregular verbs in English, usually the most commonly used ones. This is due to the fact that the language has become more regular over time and it has lost many of the older forms.
Many irregular verbs follow a pattern and it is a good technique to try to remember which verbs are similar.
Remember that verbs are only Irregular in affirmative sentences and here is no difference in structure between regular and irregular verbs when we form questions or negatives
Some of the verbs in the table have more than one translation to Spanish. As languages are not parallel systems, word by word translations can be dangerous and lead to misunderstandings. Always check the meaning in a context sentence or look at the meaning in an English-English dictionary like the one included in all the LinguaSuite courses.
